          Test and Characterization Engineer

We are seeking candidates with experience in testing and characterizing ASICs. Candidates familiar with CMOS or CCD image sensors are very strongly favored. The successful candidate will be required to evaluate all aspects of image sensor performance, providing clear and comprehensive documentation. The candidate will also have some involvement in establishing production testing tools. The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.  Software development and data analysis skills are required. Experience in PCB design and/or firmware development is desirable.


         Technical Sales Support for CMOS Sensor 
          -  Assist in the development of advanced CMOS Sensor processes
          -  Meet with customers to help answer their technical questions related to camera operation and specifications. 
          -  Understand and be able to articulate the relationship between the process and camera operation and

             functionality
          Education: Advanced degree in semiconductor process or circuit design, preferably image sensor and/ or camera 
          circuit design.
          Work Experience:
          -  CMOS Image Sensor process modeling, development and/ or characterization
          -  CMOS Sensor array design and/ or analysis
          -  Camera support circuit design or circuit design to meet camera specifications
          Work Knowledge Required:
          -  Ability to understand and communicate with customers regarding our process versus their image sensor and/ or

             camera design needs.
          -  Ability to understand the physics, process and design aspects of CMOS Sensor pixels and array as they relate

            to customers product needs.
          -  Ability to interpret customers' image sensor and camera design needs into our process specifications            

         Other:
          -  Excellent communications skills
          -  Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean language skill desired, but not absolutely  necessary. 
      



          CMOS device development engineer 
           - Device design for CMOS imager technologies 
           - Device and pixel characterization

           Education:
           - Advanced degree in electrical engineering or physics with a Semiconductor device physics concentration
             Work Experience:
           - Experience in semiconductor device design and characterization required
           - Experience in CMOS imager pixel design and characterization strongly desired
           -  Applicant must be willing to relocate.

 

Senior Characterization Engineer/Scientist

Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in performing detailed characterization of mixed-signal ASICs. Candidates with experience in CMOS or CCD image sensor characterization are very strongly favored. The candidate will form a close relationship with the design team, providing comprehensive, documented feedback on all aspects of CMOS image sensor performance. In addition, the successful candidate will make recommendations on how particular analog circuits and/or digital data processing methods may be enhanced in subsequent sensor designs. The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline. Strong programming and data analysis skills are essential. Experience in PCB design or HDL development is desirable.


Analog/Mixed Signal Designer

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electric Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus two years of work experience as an Analog/Mixed Signal Designer or related. Two years experience may be substituted to one year experience plus Master’s degree. Perform custom analog ad mixed -signal design of electrical circuits for semiconductor fabrication utilizing principles of electrical and computer engineering. Perform simulation, custom circuit layout, parameter extraction, device characterization, and testing of advanced optical electronics, computer chips and related image sensor products. Plan, organize, execute and thoroughly document complex mixed-signal circuit designs. Assist in developing technical solutions to customer specifications, determining the limits of new technology, and inventing novel intellectual property.

 

 

 Sr. Analog iSoC Designer


Our ideal candidate will lead a group of engineers working within a team of experienced sensor designers to develop next-generation CMOS imaging systems-on-a-chip for mass production. This entails custom analog circuit design and layout involving extensive simulation using the latest CAD toolset. Req. M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering + 4 years exp. as IC design engineering with expertise in ASIC Design & CAD support. Candidate must be capable of both leading a group and working within a larger team of other talented experts. The ideal candidate must be willing to take full responsibility for major analog blocks including ultra-low noise pixels, SoC column buffers, high-speed & low-noise amplifiers, and A/D converters operating at bandwidths of several hundred MHz to beyond 1 GHz. This involves coordination of overall chip timing including end-to-end simulation using HSIM. 

 

 

Analog SoC  Designer

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, plus two years of work experience as an Analog/Mixed Signal VLSI Designer, VLSI Designer or related. Perform simulation, custom circuit layout, parameter extraction, device characterization, and testing of advanced optical electronics, computer chips and related image sensor products. Plan, organize, execute and thoroughly document complex mixed-signal circuit designs. Assist in developing technical solutions to customer specifications, determining the limits of new technology, and inventing novel intellectual property.


Applications Engineer

Our ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related, plus two years of work experience as an applications engineer, test equipment engineer, electronics engineer or related. Design new evaluation boards, qualify new products, provide technical engineering support to sales efforts and packaging & test suppliers and participate in electrical circuit design. Provide support to customers while working closely with custom analog and mixed signal circuit designers. Support simulation, custom circuit layout and device characterization. Document complex mixed-signal designs with respect to customer specifications via specific modifications to evaluation kits.


Senior Digital Design Engineer

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus four years of work experience as IC design engineer. Directs engineers engaged in performing simulation, custom circuit layout, parameter extraction, device characterization, and testing of advanced optical electronics and image sensor products. 


Digital Design Engineer

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus two years of work experience as IC design engineer or ASIC design engineer. Perform simulation, custom circuit layout, parameter extraction, device characterization, and testing of advanced optical electronics and image sensor products.


Sr. SoC Designer

Our ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus four years of work experience as IC design engineer with experience in ASIC Design & CAD. Lead engineers and sensor designers to develop next generation CMOS/ SoC chips. Responsible for major digital blocks & coordination of overall chip timing, precision timing closure, RTL to GDS-II using magma tools and end-to-end simulation suing HSIM.


Manager, Reliability Engineering and Failure Analysis

Our ideal candidate will have Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related. 5 to 8+ years of quality, engineering or supervisory experience in an electronics manufacturing environment with intimate knowledge of CMOS image sensor issues related to insuring product reliability. Strong formal knowledge of Failure analyses techniques such as FMEA, MTBF and Corrective / Preventive Action methodology are required. Knowledge of Fault Tree analyses is preferred. Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written). Prefer prior ISO experience (e.g., ISO 9001:2000). Have experience working with Asian manufacturing companies in Japan , Taiwan or China is a plus.
